The One day film schools was a very fun experience for me, although we didn’t learn the Oscars, I believe that my group at least all learnt something knew, such as learning how to edit and take different angles of different moments. It was thrilling to put together our movies, sharing ideas and building on our teambuilding skills. I would also like to thank all the amazing staff who helped out the entire day.

I would just like to say a big thankyou for the one day film school. Not only did they help me with learning how to fake punch safely(don’t worry, I’ve been showing my mom) and editing but they taught me how to work efficiently and fairly in a short period of time and with the people around me. Also a big thankyou to Mr Powell and Mrs saer for organising such a fun day. Thankyou so much. Davis.
Let me just start by saying “wow” this day we were given was one of a kind i will tell you that for free. from the examples to the fake fighting and even to me getting to be used as an example to make the most extraordinary short film thanks to our amazing film experts. I will be the first to say this day is one of the highlights of my year so far. My favourite bit has to be when we were roaming around our amazing school and make films from what we have learnt and in my opinion and i am sure everyone else’s opinion every film made was so good! So let me just sign of by saying thank you so much for giving us this amazing day and opportunity to learn more about the film industry… wait one more thing let me also say the goonies is the best film ever.

This workshop was exciting and engaging. I brought a lot away from that, it educated me on how to be a good actor on the screen!
I really am speechless of that day to this very second. I’ve made wonderful memories on film day that will stick to the back of my head forever. It was an exotic pleasure just to watch the masters perform their exceptional film editing and acting skills right in front of us, not to mention acting collaboratively, to make films. Working like this really told me that with effort, anything is possible if you really try. I still can’t get over how much fun I’ve had. A massive thankyou to Ed and Simon who, with open arms, taught us the art of film making and no matter how many times we got something wrong, they would never give up on us. I really enjoyed the one day film school and thank you to Simon and ed for showing us how to film and how to make fake punches! I also loved how we could express our creativity and run around the school filming our movie. I was disappointed that I didn’t win the Oscar but it was fun watching everyone’s masterpieces. There should be more opportunities to do things like this! It was so so fun! It needed lots of teamwork (and there was a few arguments) but we managed to work together and make an amazing movie.

The one day film school was a brilliant day where we had lots of fun learning how to make a brilliant movie. Everyone loved making their movies and there was lots of suspense when the Oscars where being nominated. It was a really cool workshop which I feel like I have learnt so many new things from it and was a really good day to learn more about how the best movies are made and even though the weather didn’t agree with helping us, it felt really good to hold the Oscars. I learnt so many things that I can use in the future like; how to edit, that each bits in a fight are added in and that there are multiple angles when filming which can add extra points to your movie. I think it was a really well planned and educational day. A thank you to Mr Powell and Mrs Saer for organising it and to the 1 day film school for the brilliant and unforgettable experience.

The movies were really fantastic and the people from the one day film school really helped me learn how to make a film on IMOVIe and how to edit one. The day was really fun and I think I would definitely want to come back to do another day of the one day film school.
